Working at our Cincinnati Aviation Component Service Center :

Our ACSC facility develops and conducts a wide array of engine component repairs – including rotating parts, complex assemblies and nozzles on 29 different engine models.

Role Overview:

  • Will perform visual and dimensional inspection duties across all areas of the Service Shop.
  • Perform functional tests on aircraft components, and simple plate layout on incoming materials as necessary.
  • Will verify test setups and perform all types of parts and processes verifications, using necessary inspection techniques and equipment.
  • Will maintain necessary and pertinent records, and perform related duties.
  • Direct or instruct others as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience inspecting aircraft hardware.
  • Demonstrate the use of basic precision measuring instruments including micrometers, dial calipers, and dial indicators.
  • Ability to use shop math, including fractions, decimals and ability to learn trigonometry and geometry.
  • Experience working with computers, applications, and keyboarding.
  • Possess analytical aptitude with methodical attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate the use of special gauges, air gauges, optical comparator, and length gauges.
  • Experience with open setup and CMM inspection.
  • Experience in disposition and quoting parts.
  • Ability to operate various hand and power tools, and basic machining and equipment.
  • 3+ yrs. of experience in inspection of aircraft hardware and 8130 systems.
  • Some knowledge of machine shop blueprints and engineering sketches.
  • Experience operating material handling and lifting devices, including ability to obtain forklift license as required.
