Overview

The compensation analyst will be primarily responsible for Quonset Point hourly wage and structure. The selected candidate will maintain & execute the current wage practices including progression, annual wage increases, labor grade structure changes & ad hoc requests. May be required to support all salary compensation tasks and projects as needed.

  • Research employee questions or concerns
  • Research appropriate job descriptions
  • Ensure equitable internal and external wages
  • Review job classification and recommend compensation changes within company policy and budgetary limitations
  • Interpret state and federal laws regulating compensation practices
  • Support all compensation special requests and emergent project work
  • Brief and educate supervision and salaried employees on compensation policies and practices
  • Building consensus with Sr. Leadership on compensation initiatives and developing a strategic roadmap for implementation
  • Enters all Quonset Point wage actions into PeopleSoft

The successful candidate will be looking to become a subject matter expert in the area of wage administration and will have experience with the following skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Solid written and verbal skills
  • Excellent oral and written skills are necessary as this position requires significant peer and customer interface with all levels of management. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, detail oriented, and able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to multitask effectively and efficiently.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Minimum 2 years experience in HR, Wage Administration or Finance

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Business or Finance
  • 3+ years experience in Human Resources, Finance, or compensation with a focus on wage administration or data analytics
  • Experience partnering with Operations or Manufacturing leadership
  • Experience supporting a medium or large hourly workforce
