This position is for an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Independent Research and Development (IRAD) Lead. The individual selected will split their time equally between leading a small team of software engineers building an integrated platform/software command and control system for the Seashells Phase 2 effort and leading an IRAD.
Basic Qualifications:
Deep understanding of micro-service based architecture, cloud computing design, and security principles
Demonstrated proficiency in software development using Java or C#
UI/UX Development
Demonstrated experience leading Agile teams leveraging Scrum, Kanban or other methodologies and/or understanding of Agile development concepts
Top Secret Clearance required to start. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience integrating software components via machine-to-machine interfaces (e.g., RESTful APIs, ActiveMQ, etc.)
Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment
Understanding / proficiency in application containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Strong background developing / debugging and/or testing of web applications and web services
Experience with Elastic Search, Kibana, Logstash (ELK stack)
Strong Presentation Skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
