Description:

Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company as an Aircraft Field Service Engineer (FSE) on our Aeronautics Field Sustainment team! This FSE position directly supports the USMC customer at U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina.

What You Will Be Doing
• As a Nose to Tail (NTT) FSE, the preferred candidate will be a subject Matter Expert (SME) in Avionics/Mission Systems (MS).

• It is desired the individual also be an emerging authority in APG/Vehicle Systems (VS) and Supportable Low Observable (SLO)/Structures, with the skill set to accomplish troubleshooting and analysis of MS, VS, or SLO.

• The candidate will act as part of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team's technical interface to the on-site Customer (both Operations and Maintenance) in resolving issues arising from maintenance and modification activities for all matters dealing with the F-35 aircraft.

• Must be a United States citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting and must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Mission Systems (Avionics) or Vehicle Systems (APG) or equivalent APG/Vehicle Systems (VS) and Supportable Low Observable (SLO)/Structures experience

• Military aircraft maintenance experience
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:

• High level of desire to learn F-35
• 3 years of experience with Avionics/Mission Systems (MS) or Vehicle Systems (APG) or equivalent APG/Vehicle Systems (VS) and Supportable Low Observable (SLO)/Structures experience
• Previous Field Service Engineer (FSE) experience highly desired.
• Experience communicating to Military leadership teams and Senior Leaders
• Fault isolation and problem analysis experience at the sub-system level.
• Technical report writing skills
• Experience with technical drawings/schematics reading and interpretation.
• Experience with engineering tools to include, but not limited to FSE Vision/VAST, PDM, VAS, JEDI, JARVIS, and CRE.
• Knowledge of CATIA and System/Software Engineering Environment (S/SEE)
• Experience partnering with military operational units

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
