HRIS Analyst in GAC Savannah


Unique Skills:

The ideal candidate would have proven mid-level Analyst experience working in an HRIS position supporting and optimizing HCM systems used to deliver the fundamental HR functions to the business. Requires a good understanding of relational databases, HR technology platforms and integrations, and the ability to partner directly with HR and IT organizations to deliver scalable solutions.

Systems experience needs to be in HR systems.


Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 2 years progressively responsible HR or systems analyst experience.

Position Purpose:

Under minimal supervision, researches, analyzes and maintains systems in support of human resource service delivery and projects. Provides super user administration and subject matter expert (SME) support on HR tools and systems.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  1. Generates advanced ad hoc and production reports, metrics, and analytics .
  2. Assists in identifying new HR and organizational needs and researching product enhancement/upgrades necessary to fulfill these needs .
  3. Develops, updates, and modifies tools, tables, reports and other system applications to maintain, gather, and report data as necessary .
  4. Helps maintain security permissions and profiles in HR systems .
  5. Works with customers to develop requirements and specifications for process improvement initiatives or HR tools/system enhancements .

Additional Functions:
  1. Resolves end user system and data issues .
  2. Assists in training the HR departments and organization staff on system access and utilization .
  3. Participates and performs analysis on business/system process reviews .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:
  1. Strong quantitative analysis skills.
  2. Knowledge of Relational Database and Human Resources concepts required.
  3. Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Visual Basic, Access, and Powerpoint).
  4. Experience with HR metrics, advanced reporting, or other analytic tools preferred.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
