Overview

The position is for 1st shift, at the Main Yard Facility in Bath, ME.

  • Successful candidates will be expected to create a deliverable product (job package) to manufacturing. The package provided is expected to contain all necessary documentation to accomplish that work and be aligned with material needed.
  • Depending on specific assignments, this position could consist of varying levels of office, bill of material development and/or route creation.


Responsibilities

  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • College degree in a technical, business, or management related field preferred.
  • Graduate of BIW Manufacturing or Design Apprentice programs preferred.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other technical documents.
  • Competent usage of common PC-based systems (Microsoft Office, etc.) required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Satisfactory work history (discipline/attendance).
