The Boeing Precision Engagement Systems Team is currently looking for a Lead Project Engineer to join the team based in St. Charles, MO.
The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Launch System Technical Integrator to join the Cruise Missile Systems team. The selected candidate will be part of the Cruise Missile Systems Chief Engineer organization and an integral member of a production program engineering team. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical integration across program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
The Cruise Missile Systems portfolio comprises medium and long-range ship-, air-, land-, and submarine-launched weapons systems, including the Harpoon Weapon System and the Standoff Land Attack Missile Expanded Response. Cruise Missile Systems serves the U.S. Department of Defense and more than 30 international customers.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers
Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements
Works with customers and management to obtain approval
Responds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules
Leads project execution to complete the work statement
Identifies performance metrics
Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program
Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity
Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned
Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans
Works under minimal direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Active U.S. Secret Required
9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
Experience with systems engineering and integration of complex weapons systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Weapons or cruise missile engineering development and/or production experience
Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
3 or more years of experience with quality and/or production support
Experience interfacing with senior military officials

Summary pay range for Lead: $136,850 - $185,150
