The Work
In this role, you will contribute to design and test of digital hardware including servers, cabinets, high speed digital printed circle boards, and other assemblies for radar and other applications. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the design and test of digital hardware. preferably including Printed Circuit Board and cable design.

Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

The Work
As a Hardware IPT Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading Hardware development teams of 5 - 20 engineers through the hardware development process of digital subsystems.

• Acting as technical liaison between Engineering & Technology leadership and Program Management to align resources, staffing and milestone planning.
• Facilitating weekly IPT status meetings and ensuring transparent communication among engineering, technology, program management and customer stakeholders.
• Delivering clear, concise oral and written updates to leadership, customers and cross functional teams.
• Overseeing subsystem development, build and test activities to meet schedule, performance and quality requirements.
• Experience fostering close working relationships with associate IPT Leads, functional Managers, and customer counterparts.

• Mentoring IPT members and fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related Technical degree
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience
• Proven ability to contribute to hardware design work
• Experience with validating hardware and integrating with other assemblies
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level
Desired Skills:
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with troubleshooting electronics at the component / circuit board level, including batteries, DC/DC converters, Inverters, and embedded FPGAs and micro-processors.
• Cable Design Experience in Zuken E3
• PCB Design Experience in Altium, Xpedition, or other design software
• Ability to troubleshoot a variety of electrically related problems, document testing processes and results in the appropriate problem reporting system
• Experience with Change Management and Release Processes

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
