The LEAP Product Durability Senior Controllership Leader is a critical and highly visible role that partners closely with Product Line Finance and Operations to develop, manage, and account for product durability business plan reserves for the LEAP product line. This role will lead one analyst and serve as a key influencer across the value stream, with accountability for accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to enable accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting and analysis.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Closing, reporting and processing of various Product Durability (PD) discounts in Spares new material.
- Alignment to various customer teams relative to commercial letters and business plans as well as product line finance and the technical modeling team
- Provide input to balance sheet reviews, including pre-close and deep dives relative to PD
- Develop and implement simplification initiatives for PD accounting, closing and reporting.
- Development and/or support of digital tools and automation of processes to improve data collection, reporting, and processing of Business Plans and Operational Activities
- Will lead small projects, applying FLIGHT DECK principles. Developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. May handle sensitive issues.
- Reconciliation of actual cost versus estimated cost relative to specific business plans
- Understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOPs and Process Maps
- Ad-hoc research and projects to support business needs, including timely resolution of issues
- Lead and adhere to monthly and quarterly SOX controls
- Responsible for ensuring alignment to GAAP and GE policies throughout the accounting process.
- Support FP&A counterparts & Prod line Finance for accessing and understanding data needed for discounts forecasts
- Lead customer level reviews of reserve balances with customer teams
- Account reconciliation preparation as well as review
- External audit contact relative to PD discounts
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 8 yrs experience in an Accounting or Finance role

The base pay range for this position is $119,000 - 198,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. This posting is expected to close on 04/03/26.
