Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.



Responsibilities for this Position

As aMissile Tracking SystemsEngineer for theUS Space ForceSpaceDevelopmentAgency(SDA)Ground,ManagementandIntegration (GMI)program, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deployingstate-of-the-artground operational systemsfor the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA).You will be part of an elite teamproviding the evolution, expansion, integration, testing and maintenance of the ground entry points, operations centers, enterprise test and checkout capabilities and infrastructure management, including all development, systems engineering, integration, testing, maintenance, and site support.

Key Responsibilities

    Systems engineeringthat includesdecomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, andsystemdesign behaviors
    Pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloadscapabilitiesto track missiles
    Analysis and fusion of missiletracking data provided by satellite to thegroundfor processing andrapidly providing anddisseminatingthe information

Technical Skills Required

    Minimum of15+years of recent designing and developing systems that can solve complex problems using algorithms
    Minimum of10+years of recent algorithm development and tuning for specific mission parameters

    Recent experience withmissiletracking systemsdesign and architecture,andsensor fusion techniques
    Recent experiencedesigning logic,assessingandschedulingsatellite services to track missiles
    Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment
    Experience withimage processing(collection, handling, storing, and analysis)

Salary Note

Combined Salary Range

USD $183,371.00 - USD $203,428.00 /Yr.
