You will be the Hardware Design Engineer Senior Staff for the Simulation & System Labs (SSL) F-35 HW Design group which is responsible for developing and integrating Simulation HW Lab environments for F‑35 customers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Hardware Design Engineer Senior Staff you will be responsible for designing, procuring, testing, and installing electronic hardware for Man‑In‑The‑Loop and Hardware‑In‑The‑Loop lab applications supporting F‑35 and ADP projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical leadership for system integration lab projects, estimates, BOE's and new proposals.
- Performing systems‑requirements analysis and power calculations.
- Designing and documenting electrical wiring, schematics, and 2‑D drawings for lab infrastructure.
- Coordinating with vendors, managing procurement, and overseeing HW fabrication and checkout.
- Integrating and troubleshooting lab hardware, including fiber‑optic, Ethernet, and bus interfaces.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in STEM discipline (Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineer or Computer Engineering preferred)
• Experience with proposals
Desired Skills:
• MS OFFICE, MS VISIO, Experience in Electronics equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience with Electronics design, assembly, and checkout.
• Experience with interpretation/development of Electrical Wiring Diagrams/Schematics and Parts Lists.
• Experience with APTS, BOE and/or ROM
• EVMS basic knowledge and experiences
• Experience with requirements analysis
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
