The Planning & Fulfillment Leader is accountable for hardware demand and supply planning, as well as fulfillment processes and execution for next-gen programs. This role will work with Product Operations, Design Engineering, Shops and Sourcing to elevate visibility of materials planning and fulfillment operations and problem-solve at genba to strategically identify and eliminate constraints impacting short and long-term delivery performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure material requirements are planned to consider lead-time, capacity and readiness to support current and future delivery schedules.
  • Responsible for processes impacting inventory coverage, req releases, lead-time management, fulfillment and logistics to drive accountability and performance improvement.
  • Responsible for standard work creation and adherence for materials planning and execution processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts and coach peers on tools and strategies to benefit operating metrics. Drives operating cadences within team and supports problem solving efforts as needed.
  • Facilitate strong partnership across key functions - including Buying, Engineering, Program Management, Shop Planning and Execution, etc.
  • Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Operate in gray space to provide structure and process rigor.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college + Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain(or a high school diploma / GED) with at least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain

  • Experience in Supply Planning or Sourcing / Procurement.
  • Experience within procurement, ideally in Aerospace sector.
