GE Aerospace operates three cutting-edge manufacturing facilities in the Muskegon area. Our plants are home to high performance teams who are creating quality High Pressure Turbine Nozzles, Low Pressure Turbine Nozzles, and Shrouds for use in commercial and military aircraft engines. The manufacturing processes we use include High Speed Grinding, Brazing / Heat Treat, In-machine deburr, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) such as Conventional, Speed Drills, CNC and Wire as well as Ultrasonic Cleaning and VPA Coating.As the Lead Fulfillment Specialist at our site, you will build, develop, manage, and maintain coating supplier relationships, communicate demand stream, and obtain commits to support that demand. In this role, you will also maintain clear to build priorities and communicate to each level of the organization where gaps arise, troubleshoot potential impacts to deliveries and escalate to drive resolution.
This position will require up to 30% travel in order to perform on site cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve aged inventory issues.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure shop paper and attainment tracking is correct
- Manage supplier relationships
- Inventory control
- Risk identification and mitigation
- Track program status to plan and report to necessary personnel, including communication to shop associates on needed actions
- Perform inventory actions necessary to maintain system accuracy
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of material handling, inventory control, supplier management, and/or supply chain experience)
- At least an additional 3 years of material handling, inventory control, supplier management, and/or supply chain experience
