Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Systems Specialist (Level 2 or 3) to join our Quality team in Mesa, AZ.
The successful candidate will be the Program NOE Focal. The Program NOE Focal is the primary Boeing point of contact responsible for managing Notice of Escapement (NOE) events for Attack programs. This role coordinates detection, containment, investigation, regulatory reporting, corrective actions, and closure with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and government customers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as the point of contact for NOE events for the program; receive, triage, document, and track NOE notifications
- Coordinate initial safety/risk assessments and communicate immediate containment requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional response teams: engineering, quality, supply chain, operations, and program management
- Monitor containment actions (quarantine, stop-ship, inspections, grounding) with suppliers and internal operations
- Coordinate root-cause investigations and ensure robust CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) development, implementation, and verification, when needed
- Maintain event documentation and records, ensure traceability of suspect parts/materials
- Provide timely status reporting and briefings to program leadership and regulators
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
- 1+ years of experience using the Microsoft Office Application Suite such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience communicating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- 1+ years of experience do you have working with Non-conformance (NCR) processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1+ years of experience interfacing with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
- 3+ years of experience do you have working with the Apache Helicopter
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) methods
- Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard?

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Associate (Level 2): $78,200 - $105,800
Mid-Level (Level 3): $88,400 – $119,600
