You will serve as a STAFF DIRECTOR in the Office of Chief Naval Intelligence & Security.
Major duties
You will drive major projects, integrate competing priorities, and shape solutions that address enterprise-wide issues. You will review high-visibility actions for accuracy, coordination, and policy compliance before they reach senior leadership. You will guide senior leaders with strategic analysis and long-range planning that strengthens organizational performance. You will interpret policies and statutes to resolve complex program challenges and keep stakeholders aligned. You will oversee daily operations, streamline processes, and ensure programs support the organization’s mission and priorities. You will lead and mentor a diverse team, ensuring high-quality work, clear expectations, and continuous development.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing complex issues to develop organizational objectives and short/long range program goals. Experience collaborating and communicating orally and in writing with both internal and external counterparts. Interpreting policy and procedures to resolve problems and ensure compliance in personnel, budget, and facility requirements.
