You will serve as a Supervisory Engineering Technician in the Fleet Technical Support Division (Code 210) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Major duties
You will analyze and evaluate various programs to determine future workload and resource requirements. You will plan work, set priorities, and prepare schedules for subordinates. You will oversee and manage technical engineering work. You will build connections with support activities and help guide others on policies, regulations, and procedures. You will identify and coordinate development and training needs of subordinates. You will offer guidance, help address complaints, and take disciplinary action if necessary.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying knowledge of Navy surface craft electronic systems, weapons and weapon control systems, and hull, mechanical and electrical systems to provide fleet technical assistance; communicating well orally, in writing, and electronically; and developing and conducting briefings.
