About the position: This position is located at the Youth Center Aviano, AB. This is a NAF (Non- Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 31st Support Squadron at Aviano AB, Italy.

Major duties

Provides administrative support to the Youth Activities Center. Receives children, youth and parents, maintaining various suspense files, regulations, directives, inventory control files and posting changes as required. Ensures visitors comply with sign-in procedures. Articulates policies relating to patron fees, waiting lists, and program events. Enrolls children in instructional classes, sports, social programs, memberships, and Before and After School Program. Maintains and updates enrollment data ensuring rooms are filled to capacity for maximum use of facility. Organizes and maintains accurate up-to-date records. Assists in compiling correspondences, reports, forms, and other related material. Utilizes point of sales (POS) and prepares various reports and other statistical and financial data pertaining to the activity. Prepares invoices, supply and equipment requests. Maintains time and attendance cards/records. Ensures risk management procedures (i.e. abuse prevention, identification, reporting procedures, and accident prevention, etc.) are followed. May monitor operations of the facility (per AFI 34-349 "Supervisor on Duty") during absence of director and/or supervisor on duty. Preforms other related duties as required. Legal US residents must possess a social security number and be citizens of a NATO country. The 31ST Force Support Squadron is not currently providing logistical support. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience: Applicant must have experience in responsible clerical or office work in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to preform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. Typing skill is desirable. General knowledge in Microsoft Office business software programs is desirable. Applicant must have experience which has demonstrated arithmetic aptitude and ability, accuracy, and attention to detail; progressively responsible experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody, or other processing of cash and cash items. Applicant must have a valid driver's license and have a good driving record if required to transport children. Applicant must meet specific physical requirements, pass a physical examination and have required immunizations. Applicant must be able to obtain ServSafe Certificate. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check the Inquires (NACI). Positions which require the transport of children are Testing Designated Positions (TDP) and are subject to random drug testing as a condition of employment. Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
