This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Certain Competitive Service / Modified Direct Hire Authority. Major duties

At the GS-07/GS-09/GS-11, you will perform developmental duties as assigned. At the full performance level (GS-12), you will perform the following: You will conduct regular reviews of clauses used in automated and manual procurements. You will ensure format codes include mandated clauses and provisions based on contract type and clause prescriptions. You will serve as the functional administrator for automated procurement systems, including establishing profiles and access consistent with security and regulatory restrictions. You will provide administrative and technical support toward the development and operation of information technology applications related to contracting functions. You will be responsible for making recommendations of best practices for implementation of acquisition systems.

Qualification

GS-07: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing knowledge of regulations, policies, practices and/or procedures employed in contracts and purchase orders. Examples of specialized experience may include the following; 1) Assisting with the implementation of clause changes in automated procurement systems; 2) Aiding in responses to contracting personnel questions regarding clause usage; 3) Supporting the duties of a functional administrator for automated procurement systems. GS-09: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing knowledge of regulations, policies, practices and procedures employed in contracts and/or purchase orders. Education

Basic Education Requirements: A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees. In addition to the above basic requirement, in lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-07: 1 full academic year of graduate education or law school or a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement GS-09: 2 full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education or master's or equivalent graduate degree or LL.B. or J.D. GS-11: 3 full academic years of progressively higher level graduate education or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree GS-12: There is no substitute of education for experience for this series at this grade level.
