Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Software Developer supporting MARFORCYBER located at Ft. Meade, MD. Our work depends on you joining our team to deliver expert capabilities in support of MARFORCYBER's mission to develop cyberspace capabilities, including traditional and non-traditional solutions.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Support the full software development lifecycle for cyberspace capabilities.
• Plan and define project scope, goals, and timelines.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize stakeholder requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Design detailed system architectures, models, and prototypes.
• Develop, test, and refine code in multiple programming languages.
• Create software architectures including microservices, monolithic, and event-driven architectures.
• Ensure proper documentation of code to support long-term maintenance and scalability.
• Manage software configuration and version control using tools like Git.
• Conduct quality assurance testing including unit, integration, system, and acceptance tests.
• Implement secure coding practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Generate and review operational and procedural scripts to support cyberspace operations.
• Integrate capabilities with USCYBERCOM common services.
• Develop and refine cyberspace tradecraft and TTPs to support MARFORCYBER's mission.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree - (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with demonstrated expertise across the full lifecycle.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C, C++, and Assembly.
• Experience with development tools including Visual Studio and Git.
• Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong background in software architecture, modeling, and configuration management.
• Secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment experience.
• TS/SCI (or eligible).

PREFERRED SKILS

• Experience developing cyberspace capabilities (implants, exploits, tradecraft, and TTPs).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and microservices design.
• Knowledge of USCYBERCOM mission systems and MARFORCYBER operational environment.

• On Customer Site - MARFORCYBER. (Hybrid/Remote may be considered with approval).

The likely salary range for this position is $182,750 - $247,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
