Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for either a Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst (Level 3) or Senior Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals! This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA, but may consider candidates based in Palmdale, CA. The selected candidate will support the Air Dominance F-35 team to meet the goals and objectives of the AS Business Management organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Strategizes, develops, and manages comprehensive export/import authorizations to ensure compliance with US and foreign regulations

  • Follows business processes pertaining to export/import requirements and all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations

  • Establishes and maintains relations with appropriate government regulatory agencies and internal customers

  • Assures trade compliance through gate reviews for technical data, foreign travel, foreign visits and export and import shipments

  • Support internal trade compliance assessments and audits, including required documentation preparation and reviews with management, auditors, and legal counsel

  • Maintains applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements

This requisition may be filled as either a Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst or Senior Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst

Basic Qualifications for the Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst:

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 9 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR
  • Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other US Government Regulations.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 5 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

Basic Qualifications for the Senior Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst:

  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 12 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR
  • Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other US Government Regulations.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 5 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on a complex and high-volume production program

  • Experience with OCR's EASE application (EEMS)

  • Experience with SAP / GTS application

Primary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
