What you'll get to do:
The Inspector uses predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
Uses various measuring devices as described in the Assembly Instruction.
Inspector will utilize released build documentation to make good part/bad part decisions.
Inspector will utilize drawings, part list, Assembly Instructions, Standard Shop Practices, dial indicators, micrometers, scales and other tools as defined by the work instruction.
Inspector will utilize SAP (Standards, Applications and Process) daily to interface with production hardware.
Inspector will review contracts and shipping paperwork for accuracy.
The ideal candidate must be able to work under a microscope, interpret part lists, lift up to 30 pounds, sit for long periods of time, stand for long periods of time, and must be knowledgeable of using Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic Qualifications for the Inspector 2 (2nd Shift):
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience.
Must be able to work occasional overtime or weekend support as required.
Must be available for 2nd shift.
US Citizenship Required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
J-STD Training or experience.
Experience reading engineering drawings.
IPC-A-610/620 Training or experience.
Torque Training or experience.
Experience working in an ESD (electrostatic discharge) environment.
PPE experience.
SAP experience.
Experience with decision making process.
Active Secret Clearance.
