You will serve as a WORK AND FAMILY LIFE COORDINATOR of NAVAL STATION.
Major duties
You will be conducting client interviews to establish the nature and extent of concerns and issues, to assist with the development of client goals and plans, and to determine appropriate referral services and options to meet client needs. You will develop local information and referral resource guides and maintain up-to-date listings on available services and providers. You will utilize and conduct self-assessments and community assessments, using official Navy survey processes to identify trends, organizational needs and necessary program and process improvements to meet the needs of the Navy community. You will work with clients to prioritize issues and develop plans and goals tailored to their needs and concerns.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Collaborating with military and community-based Quality of Life (QOL) strategic partners on executing multi-departmental installation Quality of Life (QOL) primary prevention events and activities; 2) Maintaining timely and accurately update program and administrative reference materials, project files, policies, procedures, records, and written instructions from the supervisor utilizing the approved CNIC database repository and applicable databases; 3) Maximizing various forms of service delivery, including virtual services via webinar, video, email, phone, R&R support (ship aboard) to deployed service members; and group classes, one-on-one consultations, and Information and Referral (I&R) services in-person, via online webinar or video, telephone, and email to service members ashore and afloat (pier side).
