Position Title: Facilities Material Planner

Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Shift: Day shift

Travel Required: Up to 10% of the time

Description of Duties:

The Facilities Material Planner supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

• Provide analytical support to Organizational Leadership in performing their Material Planner responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and review costs, schedules, and material procurement plans

• Coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials timed to meet project and operational requirements

• Be responsible for coordination of material acquisition and maintenance of Bill of Material (BOM) information

• Collaborate with customers and other members of the Procurement Team

• Will work in the Remedy/Kinetic system

• Assist other Material Planners as needed

• Be able to demonstrate proficient communication skills

• Be able to work in a highly paced environment

• Have excellent organizational skills

Basic Requirements:

• Must have 6, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience

o May be reduced with completion of advanced education

• Must have 2, or more, years of administrative work experience

• Must have experience with Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc)

• Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

• Have experience purchasing a variety of material types and working under a DCMA approved purchasing system

• Have experience working within the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)

This position is expected to pay $26.04/hour- $31.25/hour ; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
