Job Description
Amentum is seeking a Site Program Lead for multiple OCONUS locations contingent upon award. The Site Program Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects within the organization. This role requires a high level of expertise in both business management and engineering, ensuring that all projects align with the organization's strategic goals. The position involves significant decision-making authority and managing a team to achieve project objectives effectively.
Essential Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead and manage multifaceted projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Team Leadership: Oversee a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, clients, and team members, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout project lifecycles.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize project outcomes and organizational growth.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential issues and develop proactive solutions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Education Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in business management or engineering, with at least eight (8) years of experience in management-level positions.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree in another field with a total of eight (8) years of experience in management and at least six (6) years in engineering or business.
- Candidates without a Bachelor’s Degree will be considered if they have:
- A high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in management and at least six (6) years in engineering or business.
- Experience: Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Industry Experience: Experience working with the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD).
- Security Clearance: Must possess a Top Secret (TS) security clearance at the start of the contract.
- Additional Requirements: Must be OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) WMA (Washington Metropolitan Area) based with frequent Temporary Duty Assignments (TDYs).
