Job summary
This job opportunity is for an SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (INVENTORY MANAGEMENT), position description D2134000, within the NJ 108TH LRS of the New Jersey Air National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position.
Major duties
As an SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (INVENTORY MANAGEMENT), GS-2005-7, you will: Responsible for centralized inventory management accountable under the guidance of the United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO), to include warehouse assets, supply points, readiness spares, and WRM assets at prescribed frequencies. Ensure accurate asset accountability records are maintained. Perform research to resolve all inventory discrepancies. Prepare and publish the master inventory schedule of all categories of property as outlined in Air Force Manuals and Instructions. Provide guidance to other Logistic Readiness sections to ensure compliance with DoD, Air Force and other applicable guidance in inventory management and control. Perform other duties as assigned.

Title 32 Dual-Status Positions: Military Grade: Min: A1C/ E-3 and Max: TSgt/ E-6 Applicant(s) (Enlisted) who are over grade must clearly state, in their resumes, their intentions to willingly take a reduction in grade Title 32 Dual-Status Positions: Compatible Military Assignments Appointments may require the selected candidate to be assigned to a *military unit* compatible with the full-time Military Technician (Dual Status) position. *Military Unit* -- The unit by which the individual is employed as a Military Technician (Dual Status) employee; or a unit that the individual is employed as a Military Technician (Dual Status) employee to support. (Guidance established by NJ HRO-J1) Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance within 1(One) Year of appointment.
Qualification
General Experience: Must have the following experience(s): Operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered Using computers and automation systems Specialized Experience: Must have 12 months of the following experience(s): Governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment Conducting extensive searches for required information Reconstructing records for complex supply transactions Providing supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, or parts Performing routine aspects of supply work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures
