Job summary

You will serve as a WORK PACKAGING MANAGER in the Engineering and Planning Department (Code 200) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Major duties

You will motivate, teach, enable, and empower team personnel to establish a continuous learning and improving environment in the organization. You will ensure that decisions made by the team are aligned with the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Leadership Philosophy and Values. You will ensure equality in determining qualifications, selections, assignments, training, promotions, details, discipline, and awards to employees. You will review and certify Task Packages after completion. You will direct the work packaging and control function for a specific project, which involves administrative, technical, and professional work. You will monitor availability of material and tools needed to do the work and coordinating work authorizations, work permits.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assembling and coordinating work task packages to include planning and scheduling materials and resources for engineering projects..
