Job summary

You will serve as a WARGAME PROGRAM ANALYST (NAVAL WARFARE) in the TRAINING, EXERCISE, AND WARGAMING (TEW) DEPARTMENT of NAVY WARFARE DEVELOPMENT CENTER. Major duties

You will be the lead for the planning, analysis, exercise control, and adjudication of support for war games at the operational and tactical levels of war to include Fleet (FLT) 360 and ESG (Expeditionary Strike Group) 360. You will evaluate war game plans and proposals initiated within NWDC (Navy Warfare Development Center) and by external commands. You will develop credible and realistic war game scenarios through research and analysis of current operations and interaction with fleet and strike group stakeholders. You will align and synchronize efforts internally to ensure Red Cell and White Cell war game actions align with game objectives and anticipated real-world behaviors. You will select features to add into each war game scenario, customizing game flow and adjudication procedures to develop and execute each war game. You will provide oversight of the FLT 360 and ESG 360 schedule of events and plan of action and milestones for developing and executing each war game. You will be responsible for verifying and validating adjudication methodology with the Naval War College (NWC), Naval Post Graduate School (NPS), Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL), and other warfighting development centers. You will monitor the effectiveness of FLT 360 and ESG 360 programs during the execution phase of the war game to ensure appropriate application of adjudication methodology, and valid representation of inputs from Blue and Red Cell participants You will schedule, review, and facilitate end-of-game debriefs and provide a report of final game results, observations and insights, and evaluation of the game objectives. You will assess the effectiveness of the war game series and improve the readiness of each participant by facilitating debriefs, feedback surveys, and interviews with core war game participants.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness for the validation, planning, design, and execution of exercise scenarios. Experience with exercises and simulation at the operational and level of war to include military command and control, Navy operational planning, command Relationships, Joint warfare, and multi-domain integration. Experience with missions, policies, programs, procedures, and practices of NWDC's Director that are highly critical and time sensitive in nature Experience in the planning, organizing, and direction of team project work and the ability to interact effectively with management when making proposals or recommendations of significance.
