Job summary
You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the Training and Standardization Department (N7) of CNATRA.
Major duties
You will formulate and manage the development of curricula for undergraduate flight training. You will devise and manage Curriculum and Courseware (CCW) change processes and procedures in accordance with prescribed CNATRA policies and instructions. You will direct course effectiveness evaluations and test validations of operational CCW. You will assure proper Instructional System Design (ISD) methodologies, as defined by NAVEDTRA 130 series guidance, are applied to all newly developed and newly modified CCW. You will construct CCW test plans, evaluative criteria, and manage execution of the plans. You will coordinate with the Configuration Management and Quality Control (CM/QC) manager for configuration control of courseware, Quality Control (QC) test schedules, planned release dates and system integration testing issues. You will perform special studies, analyses, and investigations to promptly detect troublesome or unsatisfactory conditions in connection with varied command work processes, work methods, organizations and other management matters.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising on the development of course curriculum or instruction methods for flight training to evaluate the effectiveness of training criteria for an aviation training program.
