Job summary

You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the Administration Department, Workforce Development Division of NAVAL SHIP REPAIR FACILITY . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***

Major duties

You will provide evaluate and qualify instructors as well as developing and providing training within the command. You will develop complete, full-length courses in an established subject field for instructor use. You will review and evaluate audiovisual aids. You will assess training effectiveness to improve training quality and efficiency. You will evaluate curriculum and instruction to identify developmental and training needs of the organization. You will develop documentation that supports or challenges training curriculum and courseware recommendations. You will make presentations in formal or informal training classroom. You will develop recommendations for revising test items to improve their clarity and adequacy and increase the reliability and validity of the test.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating training packages for adequacy and providing department training officials with detailed, written feedback based on DoN, COMPACFLT, NAVSEA requirements to ensure the standardization and effectiveness of processes required to develop training.
