About the Position: This position is located at the DIRECTORATE OF SUPPLY &TRANSPORTATION Property Accountability Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
Major duties
Maintain an automated property book for supply transactions in logistic systems. Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reports on assigned cost center property availability. Prepare adjustments in inventory records. Prepare inventory reports regarding the status of supply actions. Provide supply officers and hand receipt holders with status of supply actions. Conduct studies on items recorded in the property book for relative item data. Research supply catalogs to consolidate like items under the same stock number. Research data inaccuracies to resolve supply problems.

Current Department of Army Civilian Employees Applying on Time-Limited Assignments In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) maintaining property book and inventory records to account for items; 2) researching supply catalogs and data inaccuracies for reconstructing supply transactions; and 3) using office automation software to enter and retrieve data, prepare documents, and develop charts. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Forecasting and Demand Planning Inventory Management Sourcing Supply Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-5).
