Job summary
You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the ORDINANCE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, LOGISTICS SUPPORT DIVISION of NMCPAC CWD DET FALLON.
Major duties
You will maintain records of supplies, tools, equipment and materials used by the organization. You will review all requests for supplies, parts and special tools for ordnance operations support. You will consult with responsible personnel to establish procurement policies and procedures and to identify priorities and justification for procurement. You will research or obtain equipment specifications and acquisition sources for procurement. You will advise the vendor of any defective or faulty purchases and coordinates their return for credit. You will receive material ordered, opens crates, boxes or bags, and identify the material for distribution. You will compile records concerned with the quantity, cost, and type of material received, stored, and issued and requisitions needed supplies. You will prepare periodic inventory reports for management review. You will account for property within various tracking systems, to include the purchase, organizing distribution and inventory. You will provide recommendations for procurement of replacement items based on available inventory and condition of current equipment.
Qualification
GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of at least one academic year of graduate education (or law school, as specified in qualification standards or individual occupational requirements) in a course of study that directly reflects the job-related KSAs/competencies necessary to satisfy the minimum qualifications and perform the duties of the position.
