Job summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base in the DoD. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. Major duties
You will review documentation and assist with actions required in the material receipt and issue processes. You will perform quality checks by reviewing all documentation associated with and pertaining to material placement, movement, receipt processing and material shipment. You will perform entries to various paper and computer files for material receipt, follow-up actions, backorders, stock record changes, requisition files, and related supply records. You will conduct preliminary research for required information, update status, research material discrepancies, and update records.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing supply support work by utilizing supply regulations, policies, and procedures to perform supply technical duties such as processing and resolution of material and inventory action procedures. Examples of specialized experience includes some or all of the following: 1) Recording, processing, or resolving discrepant, rejected and frustrated material receipts; 2) Determining corrective actions to properly record material/inventory receipts in an automated supply database; 3) Processing receipts and/or reviewing receipt documents to determine cause of discrepancy; 4) Utilizing one or more automated supply databases to enter, correct, and retrieve recurring reports and to structure and retrieve specialized reports. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: You may qualify for this position using education to substitute for specialized experience if you have successfully completed four years of education above high school level. OR You have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
