Job summary
You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the Material Readiness Department, Warehouse Operations East of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Logistics Center, Keyport Division, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania (NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA) in the Duty Station of Indian Head, Maryland, the position is located in Stump Neck, Maryland.
Major duties
You will perform warehouse management/administrative functions to facilitate Fleet logistics support. You will conduct daily warehouse inventory management operations. You will establish warehouse management methods, procedures, and business practices to locate, organize, and move assets. You will coordinate operational planning. You will gather and analyze information to facilitate and support executive and operational level decision making and prompt policy and operational changes. You will identify requirements, issues, options, and alternatives; and establishes operational objectives. You will develop technical solutions and methods of delivery. You will address/resolve warehouse management and logistical support procedural, technical, and automation issues that arise.
Qualification
For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing warehouse management operations and performing supply administrative functions to ensure accountability of an organization's assets. For GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing assistance in the analyses of warehouse management operations and performing supply administrative functions to ensure accountability of an organization's assets. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: For GS-11: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.; OR Possession of an LL.M. degree in a field directly related to the position being filled. OR For GS-09: Successful completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's degree; OR Possession of an LL.B. or J.D., in a field directly related to the position being filled.
