Job summary

You will serve as the Energy Division Director (PW8 Director) assigned to the Public Works Directorate, Energy Division (PW8) at theNAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD FAR EAST . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***

Major duties

You will supervise employees within the Public Works Directorate, section of the Utilities and Energy Management Division. You will support of the Regional Energy Program Manager (REPM) and Installation Energy Managers (IEM) to ensure development and execution of a comprehensive energy program. You will provide effective and efficient leadership of the Regional Energy Program, identify program requirements, manage resources, promote energy awareness, and collaborate within a matrix organization to accomplish energy goals across the region. You will provide support and direction to the Installation Energy Managers (IEMs).

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience in the development and execution of a comprehensive energy management program including but not limited to energy efficiency and resiliency program/project management; 2) Analyzing energy/utilities data for future facilities and utilities project planning, or third party energy contract vehicles (similar to Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC)) Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
