Job summary
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY REALTY SPECIALIST in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command within the Asset Managment (AM) Business Line, Real Estate Branch/ Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND MARIANAS.
Major duties
You will exercise administrative and technical supervision over a diverse team of Realty Specialist GS-5 through GS-13. You will plan and direct the work of assigned staff on approved and funded Real Estate projects. You will provide process guidance to leadership, other business / support lines and Public Works Departments. You will be responsible for realty planning, acquisition, realty management, and realty disposal as required. You will participate in Command-wide or Navy-wide process improvement initiatives as required and make major recommendations for the determinations of projects or program segments to be initiated, dropped, revised or curtailed.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Apply laws, regulations, and policies governing real estate functions to realty actions in order to maximize benefits to the government; 2) Use high analytical and negotiation skills to overcome complex and unusual realty actions where existing procedures may not be directly applicable ; 3) Review proposals and specifications used in real estate agreements for naval facilities and provide technical advice; 4) Ensure appropriate project requirement approvals and funding are received and accepted prior to allowing work to start on real estate projects.
