Job summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY POLICE OFFICER in the FORCE PROTECTION DEPARTMENT of NSA CUTLER SECURITY DETACHMENT.

Major duties

You will identify law enforcement employee development needs to verify performance goals are met. You will create work schedules for police officers to maintain adequate coverage at all times. You will counsel employees on police work and administrative matters. You will assign work to law enforcement employees based on priorities and individual capabilities. You will recommend promotions, reassignments, training, awards, or disciplinary actions for law enforcement staff.

Qualification

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing guidance on law enforcement and security policies and procedures; 2) Interviewing witnesses to crimes, accidents, or security breaches to determine facts, warrant apprehension, detention, or lesser action; 3) Resolving law enforcement issues; 4) Conducting searches to compile evidence of crime/accident scenes; 5) Reviewing reports for accuracy, discrepancies, and areas of concern.
