Job summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the Base Supply Branch, Property Control Office of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Major duties

You will be directly responsible for maintaining internet Facility Asset Data Store (iNFADS) and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) in an auditable state according to the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) policy. You will complete surveys and inventories to account for all Class 1, 2, 3 and 4 Plant property to include Capital and Garrison Mobile Equipment (GME). You will maintain auditable key supporting documents (KSDs), provide periodical reports, i.e., monthly, quarterly or annually in compliance to policy. You will perform account maintenance and accounting support work requiring a basic understanding of accounting systems, policies, and procedures to examine, verify, maintain, and reconcile accounts and accounting data. You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation, and compliance with regulations for provisioning of goods and services provided to or by the Government. You will perform technician work in support of budget analysis and administration, including maintaining ledgers, formulating budgets, and consolidating, compiling, or verifying funding data. You will plan work, set priorities, and schedule work to ensure effective and timely accomplishment of priority work without adverse affect on regular and recurring work. You will assign work to subordinates base on employee's capabilities, priorities, and task difficulty.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Processing financial transactions, utilizing automated systems, researching financial obligations and expenditures, and auditing (e.g., payroll, vouchers, and invoices).
