You will serve as a STRATEGIC PLANNER AND INTEGRATOR in the Strategy and Future Requirements N5 ofCOMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE.

Major duties

You will be responsible in coordinating with relevant maritime headquarters to determine common operational requirements. You will be participating as the principal CNREURAFCENT planner for operational planning and sychronization events. You will be responsible in overseeing the review of Joint, CCMD, Component and NATO publications and products pertaining to Deliberate Planning and Joint and Combined Operations. You will be responsible in leading the Operational Planning Teams for planning, exercies and operations.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing strategic objectives in support of command's operational control and mission requirements; 2) Maintaining synchronization and alignment of Commander, Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central (CNREURAFCENT) and shore enterprise planning efforts to US and NATO maritime planning efforts; 3) Serves as the Commander's representative engaging with various meetings and engagements presenting plans and recommendations to maximize maritime shore capabilities and capacity within requirements; AND 4) Developing and publishes strategic guidance, goals, objectives, messages, themes, and organization's priorities.
