Job summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Department of Defense Sexual Assault Program Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as SHARP Program Support Services Specialist, responsible for planning and coordinating a variety of services functions that are principally work-supporting.
Major duties
Serve as focal point for strategic and operational management, business process improvement and change management, organizational program and governance. Maintain effective working relationships with counterparts throughout MACOM and Department of the Army (DA) level to ensure effective scheduling coordination to benefit unit leadership and mission accomplishment. Provide for the improvement and simplification of reporting requirements through analysis of data reported, analysis of the requirements and methods for preparation of reports and assuring that reporting requirements are met. Use initiative, discretion, judgement and in-depth knowledge of SHARP Program priorities in a complex, unstructured, high-visibility, fast-paced work environment subject to constantly changing requirements. Develop an organizational records management program.
Qualification

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Planning and organizing work involving diverse SHARP activities; 2) Gaining cooperation and coordinate of personnel to work with others; 3) Communicating orally and in writing a variety of SHARP program operational support functions; AND/OR 4) Utilizing automated systems to extract and analyze data and manage information. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
