Job summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Direct Hire Authority. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day security tasks within your program office, to include the creation of security documentation that aligns with internal security procedures. You will analyze, evaluate and make recommendations concerning alternative approaches to program security protection policies, disclosure of information and accreditation processes. You will be in charge of the screening of program access requests and identify salient and pertinent points for adjudication and communication and liaison with DoD, Navy, Government Agencies, and other Security Offices. You will be the primary point of contact in providing security guidance and advice to High Level Program Managers and others on matters pertaining to Program Security data. You will oversee the security classification management of all documents/information generated in the Program Office.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing and providing continuity of security for facility, personnel, visitor control, document control and all other security requirements; 2) Ensuring that access to Program Security Information is limited to cleared team members in accordance with all applicable directives, statutes, and dissemination instructions for handling of Classified/Sensitive Data 3) Providing security management, policy guidance and support to Program Office personnel members on all matters pertaining to protection program security procedures for special projects throughout the program life cycle; and 4) Managing all facility security requirements in accordance with the ICD 705 and other physical security mandates. Education
