Job summary
You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the N34 FORCE PROTECTION DEPARTMENT of COMNAVREGSW SDIEGO.
Major duties
You will administer and direct the Information, Physical, Personnel, Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection, and Industrial programs according to Dept. of Defense and Navy regulations, instructions, and policies. You will analyze and identify security educational needs of the workforce and weaknesses in the security program to provide solutions. You will conduct annual Physical Security surveys and assessments to determine needed improvements.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing Physical Security projects and programs for a regional force protection program; 2) Analyzing conditions, policies, problems, studies, and training for a physical security program; 3) Developing and implementing solutions to security system design, physical security training, and force protection programs; and 4) Planning and developing physical security and force protection policy as well as providing guidance on policies and procedures for a region.
