Job summary

You will serve as a SECRETARY (OA) in the Fleet Inspector General Office of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET.

Major duties

You will serve as the primary POC for completing administrative tasks such as budget management, ETMS2/TMS, IT, DTS, property custody, supply, records management, recall coordinator, SharePoint and Public website, Disaster Preparedness, etc. You will organize and maintains a filing system of official material and records, reports, records, and documents, and maintain office material condition and office equipment. You will serve as the liaison between the N01IG Staff and other COMPACFLT directorates in execution for providing administrative support functions and services. You will serve as the Executive Assistant to the Fleet Inspector General and Deputy Fleet Inspector General. You will maintain and manage calendars, coordinate meeting arrangements, schedule meetings (in-person or virtual), handle telephone traffic and mails. Prepare correspondence, develop presentation material, and set up conference room.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing office automation hardware and software systems to provide administrative and clerical support functions (e.g. receiving hotline complaints; drafting responses to complainants; creating and maintaining files; processing correspondence; managing supplies and office equipment, official travel management, establishing controls for deadlines) to meet mission goals. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: One (1) full year of graduate level education that is directly related to the position being filled.
