Job summary

You will serve as a SCHEDULING ANALYST in the Planning Branch (Code 1410.1), Program Management Operations Division (Code 1410), at the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (Code 1400) Detachment Philadelphia, PA of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Major duties

You will assess critical path and identify schedule risk and recommend solutions. You will develop automated reports reflecting resource loading and availability, including the identification of potential conflicts. You will develop automated reports track progress and flag late events. You will maintain records of work accomplishments and time expended and prepare production reports as requested.

Qualification

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience understanding manufacturing or technical work progression and planning. Experience understanding schedules related to complex work planning. Experience utilizing MS Project, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Experience resolving manufacturing resource conflicts. Experience sequencing and prioritizing work. Experience providing government budget and procurement/contracting. Experience utilizing effective communication and teamwork skills.
