Job summary
You will serve as a Safety and Process Improvement Manager in the Public Works Directorate, Program and Resource Management (PW1) of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST.
Major duties
You will develop and implement PW Directorate safety policies and activities You will implement and oversee the NAVFAC Southwest Safe Acts for Employees (SAFE) program and procedures. You will troubleshoot Enterprise Safety Application Management System (ESAMS) errors to determine the cause and possible solutions. You will assist the NAVFAC Southwest Safety Office on ensuring the Enterprise Safety Application Management System (ESAMS) has duty/task assignments for various hazards and are correct and applicable. You will develop and implement streamline business practice that promote teamwork and improve communication.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, managing, and implementing an organization's safety program; 2) Conducting data analysis to find ways to improve facilities operations in a safe and efficient manner; 3) Leading teams towards the achievement of an organization's safety and process improvement milestones; and 4) Writing standard memorandums, Executive Summaries, and other official correspondence to detail and present safety and process improvement findings.
