About the position: This position is located at the Arts and Crafts Center at Yokota AB. This is a part-time position (20-34 hours per week)

Major duties

With minimal supervision, and using advanced photographic and 3D model editing software, incumbent processes, designs, and prints a multitude of products for internal and external customers. Evaluates customer requirements to best manage expectations for standard 3D Printing projects. Analyzes customer supplied 3D CAD data and proactively resolves anticipated production challenges. Provides technical guidance to sales and external customers regarding process capabilities and limitations. Effectively communicates with customers using a consultative approach via email or phone in a timely manner. Coordinates with sales, production and other departments to achieve on-time delivery of quality parts. Effectively resolves customer post-sale issues in a timely manner. Effectively uses all work 1nstructions and checklists associated with processing customer quotes and orders. Assist the customer in working through recommended or required changes to their 3D CAD model to help them produce the best possible results. Assists in production of photo prints on photo kiosk, banner printers and ink jet photo printers. Works with digital photo edits, color/lighting adjustments and restoration. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have or be able to demonstrate progressively responsible work experience that indicates the ability to perform at a strong technical aptitude. Must have formal education (BA/BS degree), preferably with a technical focus, or equivalent experience. Education in a directly related field may be substituted for experience. Applicant must have a previous 3D modeling/CAD experience, understand 3D modeling and printing concepts, and have the ability to work in a diverse and creative work environment. Applicant must have a working knowledge of Adobe CS Software, Solidworks, CAD design and other model editing software. Must have an understanding of 3D print management, various types of 3D printers and printer file nomenclature. Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment as an individual and with a team. Must have an understanding of, and the ability to maintain a Local Area Network. Must be able to communicate with customers effectively, give advice, offer assistance, and understand customer needs. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Employment is subject to the satisfactory completion of a Tier 1 background investigation. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
