Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. Major duties
Incumbent is assigned to one or more specialized recreational activities such as the following: Marina/Fishing Pier, Community Activities, ITT Office, Theater/Auditorium, Fitness/Athletics, Golf Course, Youth Activities, and Bowling Center. Performs and/or assists in the operation of the recreation activity. Based on established policies, incumbent carries out assigned phases of designated activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants. Typical assignments may include loading the hard drive, building the features, ingesting the key code and operating the digital projector, updating the marquees and movie poster cases and training new employees. Demonstrates procedures common to the activities and instructs in the use of related equipment. Helps to plan and coordinate details of recreational activities and maintains related supplies. Assists in planning, scheduling, and publicizing various activities to attract and motivate participants. May oversee sale of retail items associated with activities. Assists with Unit Briefs. May operate a cash register, receive payments, and make change. May be responsible for opening and closing the facility. Ensures adherence to safety rules and regulations. Assists in checking patron IDs and movie receipts. Maintains patron relations and assists in maintaining routine reports and clerical duties, to include movie record-keeping as required. Oversees activities and services of patrons, including general information concerning the facilities and operations. May drive one or more types of vehicles, such as sedans, jeeps, station wagons, panel trucks, pickup trucks, flatbed trucks, which typically have a Gross Vehicle Weight of 10,000 pounds or less, on standard routes on public roads at highway speeds to deliver items or attend functions to provide general information to the public. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Acknowledges customers, smiles, and makes eye contact. Asks questions to determine, verify and solve problems. Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Uses required safety equipment and observes safe work procedures. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualification
Minimum one year experience in a related recreational activity. Knowledgeable of projection equipment and can answer questions concerning the use of the equipment and maintenance. Skill to learn applicable MCCS policies and procedures. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance. Must possess a valid drivers license is a requirement
