Job summary
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Aquatics Center on Peterson Space Force Base. Applicants must be available to work rotating shifts between the hours of 0700 through 2000, including weekdays, late evenings, and weekends. Applicants must be able to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds or more.
Major duties
Duties and Responsibilities: The primary role of this position is for the incumbent to become fully certified as a lifeguard and learn every aspect of the Base Pools lifeguard program Complete all nationally recognized certifications in Lifesaving, Water Rescue Methods and Skills, as well as Basic First Aid Training and CPR (both child and adult) Perform tasks designed to provide a practical understanding of activity programs, policies, and objectives Work under the guidance of and in close association with the Aquatics Center Manager or training designee Performs a variety of work assignments consisting of established, specific, and related tasks that have been selected to orient employee in practical application of basic principles, concepts, and techniques of the occupational field If interested in applying for this position you may preview the online application: https://apply.usastaffing.gov/ViewQuestionnaire/12677587

Education
