Job summary
About the position:This is a Flexible (Intermittent) category position located at the Spartan Lanes Bowling Center, 423d Force Support Squadron, RAF Alconbury, United Kingdom. The incumbent may be required to work 0-40 hours per week, as needed. There are no guaranteed hours.
Major duties
Assists in the operation of the bowling center control desk. Operates the point of sales system, assigns lanes, issues rental items, takes food orders. Process payment transactions via cash, checks, credit cards, and gift cards. Informs patrons on bowling safety rules. Monitor slot room and completes paperwork for payouts. Documents and informs manager of any equipment malfunctions or other items needing repair. Completes all shift paperwork and reports. Prepares drinks and ice cream for customers. Responsible for all alcohol sales. Spot checks and cleans tables in the bowling area and dining room. Removes trash and cleans carpets. Checks restrooms for sufficient supplies and cleanliness. Ensures all funds safety and accountability. Ensures safe is locked and secured, and paperwork is completed for the next shift. Ensures all close-out procedures are met at the end of the day.
