Job summary
You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the Operations Department (N42A1) of NAVMAG INDIAN ISLAND.
Major duties
You will perform Quality Assurance (QA) oversight, inspections, and audits on ordnance receipt, storage, segregation and issue (RSSI) mission. You will ensure that processing, handling storage, renovation, preservation, and packaging or ordnance is in compliance with safety requirements. You will manage the Quality Assurance (QA) program at Unit Indian Island. You will develop written instructions and procedures that support quality assurance of all production and processes. You will prepare reports, statistical and narratives as required. You will perform on-site inspections to observe work methods to assure compliance with safety practices.
Qualification
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing quality assurance inspections on missile or ordnance operations (e.g., receipt, storage, segregation or issue) to ensure policy compliance for a Quality Assurance Program. Education
