Job summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major duties
You will plan, develop, organize, administer, evaluate, and manage a comprehensive contract quality assurance program for conforming contractor quality systems conformance to contract requirements. You will identify and provide contractor availability, quality and management performance assessments to the contracting officer for use in determining future awards. You will review work specifications and other contract documents to ensure adequate quality requirements are specified. You will develop inspection system plans, instructions, and checklists to evaluate the effectiveness of the contractor's quality assurance programs. You will provide and input quality data into the appropriate quality assurance database.
Qualification
GS-9: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: monitoring and evaluating contract quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications for ship repair and overhaul. GS-7: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing assistance in monitoring contract quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications for ship repair or overhaul. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-9: Successful completion of a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position. OR Successful completion of 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position.
